Jonathan King is the Creative Director for Alabama Football. He re-joined the Crimson Tide in February of 2017 after 4 years as Director of Creative Services for Tennessee Athletics.
Prior to his time with the Vols, he worked for Alabama Athletics under Buddy Overstreet from 2005-2012. During that time King worked as a student, intern, G.A. & Assistant Director of Creative Services for Crimson Tide Productions.
Jonathan started out at UA working on highlights and recruiting materials for olympic sports, focusing on basketball & gymnastics. He then worked as Assistant Director and Editor of The Nick Saban Show during it’s first six seasons.
At Tennessee, he became the first Creative Services Director for the UT Athletic Department. Focusing on Football, he helped the team land back-to-back top 5 recruiting classes.
Jonathan was brought back to Tuscaloosa in an effort to revamp Alabama Football’s social media efforts. King leads the team that has produced the “Bama Cuts” barbershop series, as well as all of the Tide’s recruiting materials, season tickets, highlights, etc.
King, a Tuscaloosa native, holds a Bachelors in Public Relations & Advertising from the University of Alabama. He is married to Kathleen King, and they have 3 young’ins: Kara, Hannah Claire, & Kabis.
